A Disposition and Development Agreement has been approved for a full-block mixed-use development consisting of for-sale condominiums, rental housing, a church, retail space and three levels of underground parking on the block bounded by Market Street, 13th, 14th, and Island avenues. The project will contain 10,000 square feet of retail space, 166 condominiums and 44 apartments, with affordability restrictions on approximately 20 percent of the units. The Inner City Baptist Church, currently located at 13th and Island avenues, will be rebuilt and incorporated into the project. Construction is scheduled to begin in June 2005, with completion targeted for March 2007.
